- Answer real buyer questions directly, in the first paragraph
- Keep pricing, features, and positioning accurate and current
- Structure pages with clear headings so passages chunk cleanly
- Add structured data (Organization, Product, FAQ) where it fits
- Make sure your pages are crawlable and not blocked to bots
Signals that earn trust and citations
- Earn mentions from the third-party sources AI already cites in your category
- Get listed accurately on relevant review and comparison sites
- Publish comparison pages that match how buyers phrase the choice
- Show real experience and named, credentialed authors (E-E-A-T)
Accuracy and monitoring
- Ask the models your buyers' real questions, across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity
- Track whether you are mentioned, where, and against which competitors
- Flag every inaccurate claim and trace it to its source
- Publish corrections and re-check that the fix took hold
- Re-run the full checklist monthly and after any major release
