CitationWorks vs Peec AI

Last updated 2026-08-19

Peec AI is built for SEO teams and agencies tracking prompts across many models. CitationWorks scores grounded answers and splits visibility by line of business. Every claim below is read off Peec's own pricing page and dated.

The short version

Peec AI is aimed squarely at SEO teams and agencies. Their pricing page says 3000+ brands and agencies, and the plan names read that way: Starter for content managers, Pro for SEO teams, Advanced for multi-project marketing teams.

They give you more prompts than we do at every tier. 50, 150, 350. If raw prompt volume across many models is what you are buying, look at them carefully.

We are built for a narrower job: telling a business which of its offerings AI recommends, and which it skips.

One number for a company that sells four things is an average of four different truths. That is the problem we set out to fix.

Where we genuinely differ

Model coverage works differently

Peec's self-serve plans say "choose 3 models". You pick which three during onboarding, and the full set (their page mentions up to 11) sits on Enterprise.

We ask ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini on every plan, and they are all web-grounded. No picking, no upgrade to unlock a third.

If you need eleven models, they win that row outright. If you want the three assistants buyers actually use, grounded, without choosing, we are simpler.

Lines of business

We generate questions per offering and report visibility per offering, with the same colour for an offering everywhere it appears.

Peec's pricing page describes prompts, projects, countries and integrations. It does not describe a per-offering split. We looked and could not confirm it, so the table says not verified rather than claiming they lack it.

What Peec does that we do not

Their Advanced tier carries multi-country tracking and a Looker Studio integration. Enterprise adds API access, SSO and MCP. We have none of those.

They also run agency pricing for tracking prompts across many brands. Our project limits are built for one company, not a book of clients.

About the missing prices

Peec's pricing page loads its plan prices in the browser rather than in the page itself. When we fetched it on the date shown, the numbers were not in what the server returned.

So the price row says not verified. We could have copied a figure from a review blog and moved on. We would rather send you to the source.

Open their pricing page, read the number yourself, then come back and compare it to ours.
